Debit Card Fraud Monitoring Service
Fraud can hit anytime… but you’re protected.
You may not know it, but you have round-the-clock protection against the increasingly savvy perpetrators of debit card fraud. That’s because the cards we issue are protected by a robust Fraud Monitoring Service.
With our Fraud Monitoring Service:
- An automated system simultaneously examines individual transactions and cardholder behavior to predict fraud probability, 24 x 7, 365 days a year.
- If the system detects a transaction it considers suspicious, the automated system will notify you by email, text or telephone depending on the time of day.
- Email Notifications will never contain links, they will provide case # and suspect transaction information with contact information for you to confirm if this was your transaction or not. When responding, you will be asked to confirm Cardholder name and last four of SS#.
- Text Notifications will provide specific information about suspicious transaction and ask you to respond Yes or No to indicate if it was your transaction.
- Telephone Calls will be an automated call that will ask to verify only the last four of your card number and name as well as your zip code.
- If at anytime you’re transferred to a LIVE Fraud Analyst they will verify Cardholder name and last four of SS#.
- We will NEVER ask for any other personal information including your full Card Number, PIN, 3 digit Security Code from the back of your card or expiration date. If you ever receive a call asking for this type of information, hang up immediately without responding.
- You can always call us at 937-667-8461 if you are unsure that the person calling is a legitimate Fraud Analyst.
- Please inform us whenever you are planning on traveling to help prevent unnecessary fraud alerts and inconvenience to your vacation.
Please be aware, there are many people out there that will try to call and act like they are our Fraud department but will begin asking you for personal information which may include: FULL card number, PIN number, 3 digit Security Code from the back of your card, Street Address, etc. If this occurs, hang up immediately.
